OEM App

 Overview

OEM apps are Driver apps (see PTV Driver App) that have their own branding and functionality.

Like the PTV Driver App, the main purpose is, to provide a position to existing tours, as the base of an ETA calculation.

An example of an OEM Driver App is the Cargoclix App, that is available in Stores under their own brand. It provides positions to customers of the Cargoclix Time Window Management System with the benefit, that the arrival of the truck at the dock is transparent, and time windows may be switched in case of unexpected situations.

Besides the functionality of the driver app, OEM Driver Apps offer additional configuration possibilities and functional possibilities.

The most important are:

• Change Icon
• Change Product name
• Change some colors
• Configure possibilities to enter a tour
• Additional possibilities to identify an existing trip by customer specific credentials
